One of our iTwin IoT users, Samantha Ford with Monir Precision Monitoring Inc., will be presenting tomorrow as a finalist at Bentley Systems' Year in Infrastructure Going Digital Awards. ??? ?????????????? ??????????: 31 Parliament Street Urban Infrastructure and Excavation Shoring Monitoring ?? ?????????? ????????????????: Surveying and Monitoring ?? ?????????? ?????? ??????????????:?To keep the Union Station Rail Corridor in Toronto operational during the nearby construction of a luxury condominium, Monir was tasked with monitoring rail displacement and ensuring the stability of the excavation site. The project presented unique challenges, including strict monitoring guidelines, moist ground conditions, and the need for multiple levels of approval. To overcome these hurdles, Monir turned to an integrated digital solution, leveraging iTwin IoT as a proof-of-concept. By incorporating a digital twin within their existing IoT monitoring processes, Monir was able to visualize and assess the site in real-time throughout the construction process. ?????????? ??????????????’?? ???????????????? ???? ???????????? ?????? ?????????????????? ?????????????????????????????? ????????, ?????????? ????????????????: ?? 40% increase in operational efficiencies ?? 3,000 hours saved in on-site assessments ?? 6 months reduction in project timeline The digital twin approach provided a holistic view of the entire project—offering a more comprehensive solution compared to conventional sensor-based methods. California's second-tallest dam, New Bullards Bar Dam, is revolutionizing dam safety with cutting-edge IoT technology. Constructed in 1969, it was built to reduce flood risk and generate clean hydropower. However, the dam's legacy system was outdated and risky for workers. Yuba Water Agency, committed to dam safety and top-notch infrastructure operations, launched a project to upgrade and modernize its dam monitoring system.
