California is leading the way in developing innovative solutions to support medium and heavy-duty electric vehicle infrastructure, and the California Energy Commission is playing a key role in driving that innovation. Through its EPIC research grant program, the Commission is funding five projects that are demonstrating how solar microgrids can support fleet charging at locations across the state, including public access truck stops, distribution warehouses, public transit authorities, and school bus depots.
