    In my Chief Core Team meeting yesterday, we had a discussion about the difference between technical skills for a job, and soft skills or cultural fit. One of my team members was having issues with someone that had stellar technical skills, but they were experiencing performance issues due to the individual having a different mindset on sense of urgency. I propose there are 3 key attributes an employee being successful: 1. Mindset match to the role they will take 2. Technical Skillset related to the specific job tasks 3. Understanding of the Industry ecosystem, products, practices and terminology. Mindset is very difficult to change. Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge is teachable, but many companies today cut their training budgets in search of higher profits. At INFORCE we believe the path to higher profits will come from providing the highest quality service possible. We have an extensive hiring process to evaluate mindset, and we have our own INFORCE Academy where where our employees go through extensive technical and industry training.
