National boutique law firm focused on privacy and data security, advertising and marketing, and technology.
关于我们
InfoLawGroup LLP is a national boutique law firm with a laser focus on information governance – including privacy and data security matters – advertising and marketing, evolving media, technology, and intellectual property matters. We exist to provide exceptional legal services in these core practice areas that constantly intersect. Instead of building a larger, more varied practice, we are dedicated to doing just a few things very well. The firm is led by partners with significant experience in our core areas, who previously led teams at leading national law firms and have well-known expertise in their areas of practice. We are lauded for providing business-minded advice on cutting edge issues. The firm is ranked as a top Media & Entertainment firm and Privacy & Data Security firm by Chambers & Partners. Partners Justine Gottshall and Jamie Rubin are also recognized by Chambers & Partners as leaders in their fields. The firm is also ranked by the Legal 500. There is no typical client for InfoLawGroup. We count some of the largest companies in the world as clients while also representing some of the hottest startups. Likewise, we do not have a singular industry focus. We advise entertainment companies, technology companies, retailers, manufacturers publishers and others as clients. InfoLawGroup has offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Austin TX.

Everyone at ILG congratulates Fran Maier for this honor!
Big news! I’m honored to be recognized as an Innovator on Inc. Magazine’s #FemaleFounders500! The Female Founders 500 is a list of the most tenacious role models in entrepreneurship, and I couldn’t be more excited to join this list. This recognition is such a testament to the incredible work our entire BabyQuip team has accomplished. Together, we've built a platform that not only helps families travel with less stress but also creates flexible income opportunities for our Quality Providers across the country. The journey of building BabyQuip has been filled with challenges, pivots, and growth moments. From our early days pioneering the baby gear rental space and getting featured on Shark Tank ABC to expanding our marketplace nationwide, we've stayed committed to our mission of making family travel easier while also empowering our community of providers. I'm particularly honored to be among so many amazing women entrepreneurs who are breaking barriers and building innovative businesses across industries. These founders inspire me with their resilience, creativity, and grit. As one of only two honorees from New Mexico, I’m especially proud to represent our state on this list. Thank you to Inc. Magazine for naming me to this list, to our dedicated team for all of their hard work, to our investors who believed in our vision, and to our customers and Quality Providers who make BabyQuip what it is today. I’m excited to continue serving families traveling with little ones, and I can’t wait to see what else we accomplish this year.

Your Webform And Cookie Manager Practices Might Cost You $632.5K: Breaking News From The CPPA x Honda from Dhara S. Full article on InfoLawGroup LLP https://lnkd.in/gbHtQ5et

Your Webform and Cookie Manager Practices Might Cost You $632.5K: Breaking News From the CPPA x Honda. A full breakdown is linked below, but here are four key takeaways you need to know now. ?? For your cookie manager: Make sure all options are equal in choice. This means "Accept All" and "Decline All" should be your two (equally presented) buttons. ?? For your privacy rights webform: Make sure you are only collecting the data you need to process the request (just two!). In any event, you should really only be verifying requests to know, correct, and delete. ?? For your vendor contracts: Make sure you have a contract in place with all vendors (including adtech companies). This contract should include all of the CCPA-required language to establish your service provider/third party/contractor relationship. ?? For your website: Make sure your links to the cookie manager are in the footer, webform, and in the privacy policy. Honda's failure to comply with these points and the CCPA resulted in: ? Over $632K of fines. ? Requirements to engage a UX designer to evaluate its methods for submitting requests. This includes a requirement to conduct A/B testing to assess user behavior. ? Mandatory employee training. ? Loss of your time to read this post :) ?? Want to read more? The full order is linked in the comments. ?? Deep Dive: https://lnkd.in/gbHtQ5et
