We wanted to share an article about a type of cyber threat called an adversary-in-the-middle (AiTM) phishing campaign. While AiTM phishing itself is not new, a twist that’s been added to this method of attack and has been gaining popularity is a step that intercepts the authentication process and allows the attacker to steal passwords and more importantly session cookies. Once a session cookie is obtained the attacker can inject it into their browser and bypass authentication even if the account is MFA enabled. https://lnkd.in/g6spDrSP
