The Infinity Team at Point Mugu, CA rallied around a fantastic summer send-off picnic where team members from multiple contracts shared a smoked BBQ buffet. Afterwards, there was some leisurely lounging by the beach followed by games and friendly competitions sparking creative teamwork efforts that made for some good laughs. Several individuals were also recognized for their outstanding support to our customers earning them specialty prizes like the PS5. It's fun to celebrate our successes as a team, but it's also a reminder of how important company culture is to us. The day strengthened relationships, built camaraderie, and recharged the team for exciting projects ahead. Infinity's Community Outreach is back with long-time partner Hope & Home sponsoring their annual Summer Carnival! Our team always speaks highly on the gratification of this event as it's an opportunity to bring the community together while providing lasting memories for the kids and families involved. Over 400 cups of popcorn were popped, every flavor of cotton candy sold out, and over 300 attendees lined up for every game and booth. Hope & Home is a local Colorado Springs and Denver nonprofit whose mission is to "train and actively support foster families all across the Front Range." TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - Parker Van Etta | Michael Taylor | Gillian Clover | Pete Bailey | David Valentine The Infinity Hypersonic Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) operations team of Parker, Michael, Gillian, Pete, and David have won the 2nd Quarter 2024 Infinity Award! The team supported a successful missile defense program launch by identifying mission planning gaps, developing solutions, and excelling in post-launch activities. They ensured 100% of satellite contact opportunities were scheduled, conducted over 92% of all post-launch satellite contacts, and sent the first successful command to the satellite. This summer in Colorado has been beautiful, and our Community Outreach team is contributing to maintaining its beauty through their quarterly highway cleanup initiative! The first cleanup was nearly two years ago where 45 thirty-two-gallon trash bags were needed to keep Infinity's designated stretch of highway litter-free. This past cleanup, the team was able to complete the task with less than 10 bags. The Outreach team is not only part of positive change, but they hold a sense of responsibility for their local community.
