UPDATE: The 30th Street bridge is back under construction! This $17.9M project will restore and rehabilitate this bridge on Indy's west side. We anticipate the bridge opening for traffic in spring of 2026 with a final completion date in late 2026. We appreciate your patience while our contractors continue working hard on this project. Today, Mayor Joe Hogsett, Indy DPW, and community partners celebrated breaking ground on the Henry Street Bridge. This $43.6M investment will provide a vital new connection to downtown Indianapolis from the west side. This bridge over White River will provide residents with multi-modal options to get to the inner city via the expanded Indianapolis Cultural Trail Inc (ICT) and support the new Elanco Global Headquarters currently under construction as part of LEVEE, formerly known as the White River Innovation District. We would like to thank our investors and community partners from the Lilly Endowment, the Valley Neighborhood Association, ICT, Elanco, and our Community Advisory Group for standing beside us as we work to complete this project.
