????? The 2025 NRC Show was nothing short of spectacular—hosted at the breathtaking JW Marriott in Marco Island, Florida, right on the beach. It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful way to kick off the new year. Not many can say they attended a convention on the beach. The NRC Show isn’t just an industry gathering—it’s a reunion of the people, partnerships, and shared passion that make the MOW industry so special. Starting the year surrounded by this incredible community feels like catching up with friends and family, all set against a backdrop that feels almost too good to be true. A heartfelt thank you to National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC) & REMSA for organizing a show that truly raises the bar year after year.?We’re so grateful to be part of this amazing event. Here’s to yet another successful NRC Show—until 2026! ??? #NRC2025 Scott Commo, David Glawe, Tommy Wooten, Kelly Gehr

How has another year flown by? It feels like we just wrapped up last year’s NRC. This year brought yet another unforgettable NRC show—held, as always, in a breathtaking location that leaves us in awe. The timing of this show too, right at the turn of the new year, gives us pause, forcing us to reflect on how fortunate we are to be part of an industry that feels more like family and less like work. Until 2026, here’s to the connections, the moments, and the community that make this show—and this industry—so extraordinary, year after year. Thank you, National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC) and REMSA for yet another perfect show. We are so grateful. Tommy Wooten, Scott Commo, Kelly Gehr, David Glawe

Sean Keefe is on track with Enerpac's Jason D. Mann lifting a diamond with the Enerpac TL248 Track Lifting System. -- The Enerpac TL248 is a portable, self-powered hydraulic lifting system designed for precise, controlled, and safe track lifts. It's ideal for turnouts, diamonds, crossings, switches, retarders, and even bridge ends. --- ??? Key Benefits of the TL248 ??? ?? Saves Time and Costs—Track lifts are costly and labor-intensive, and often long and disruptive to train operations. The TL248 cuts project times, reduces labor, and has the ability to lift up to 4 diamond crossings or 6 switches per day. ROI can be expected after 10–20 lifts. ?? Portable and Versatile: Fits in a pickup truck and works in areas cranes can’t such as in tunnels, beneath bridges, etc. ?? Hydraulic Precision: Four 62-ton cylinders provide 1/8-inch accuracy for safe and controlled lifts and drops. ?? User-Friendly and Safe: Centralized controls, color-coded valves, LED lighting, and safety features ensure ease of use and reliability. - If you'd like to know more about the Enerpac TL248 or other Enerpac lifting systems– ??Contact Sean Keefe?? https://lnkd.in/gTNwu_9S or ??Give our customer service department a call at (630) 766-5708 ENERPAC products on our website: https://lnkd.in/gXGpTG93

This Thanksgiving, we honor the unsung heroes who keep our lives on track– literally. Despite snow, ice, and freezing conditions, Maintenance-of-Way teams show unwavering dedication and resilience, keeping railroads running and communities connected during the holiday season and the busiest time for commerce. As we gather with loved ones, let’s reflect on the quiet strength of Maintenance-of-Way. It's their efforts that help keep our holiday traditions alive. ?? Happy Thanksgiving to all, especially those working quietly behind the scenes to make our holidays possible, no matter what. ?? #maintenanceofway #railroadmaintenance #gratitude #happythanksgiving #thankyou https://lnkd.in/gYW_Pjc3

A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of hosting Union Pacific Railroad's 2-day Chicago recruiting event, Insights into Engineering, at IRS. It was an exciting opportunity for people in the Chicagoland area to meet UP's engineering and recruiting teams, get hands-on with railroad tools for the first time, and explore what a rewarding and inclusive career at Union Pacific could offer. Huge thanks to Ken Kuwamura and Team UP for making it happen – it was an honor to host such a meaningful event! Here’s a quick recap showing how the event came together at IRS! _______________________________ Ken Kuwamura, Chiquita M., Jamie Hamilton, Ronald Neblett, Derwin A. Winter is approaching ?? *gulp*, and we know maintenance-of-way crews are gearing up for the toughest conditions of the year. Cold, harsh weather complicates maintenance and increases safety risks for both section crews and train passengers. Here’s a few ways to tackle some big challenges brought by the most dreaded season in maintenance: ?? Frozen Walkways?&?Safety Components Sub-zero temperatures freeze switches, locks, and other critical railroad safety parts. ?? Apply a combo anti-icer/deicer like RR Winterizer before snowfall to prevent ice from bonding to crucial components or after snow falls to melt ice?and allow for?easier snow removal. ?? Snowbound?Rail Heavy snowfall can bury entire sections of track, slow down maintenance and compromise train operations. ?? Use a?Switch Broom with sturdy polypropylene bristles + chisel end, to efficiently clear ice and snow, or a portable?Switch Heater Can?to thaw frozen switches. ?? Rail Breaks?Require Immediate Repair Extreme cold causes rail separations that require an immediate fix to maintain track integrity. ??Upgrade from the traditional, hazardous diesel-and-rope method to?FireSnake—a hassle-free, safer rail heating tool. ??Track Obstructions Halt Operations Heavy snow can cause large trees and debris to obstruct railways. ??Proactively clear large trees and branches that accumulate in remote areas *before* the first snowfall by adding a Mulching Attachment?to a compact yet powerful excavator like the Supertrak SK180RR . Learn about other important winter safety measures that will help keep your crews safe and minimize disruptions this season below... __________________________________ Enerpac, Supertrak Inc, Milwaukee Tool
