Another day, another round of industry site visits as a part of our Digital Skills for Smart Manufacturing partnership with Conexus Indiana. Yesterday, we spent time in the South Bend - Elkhart region, hosted by Joseph Wheatly, Matt Copeland and the Ivy Tech Community College South Bend-Elkhart team. We held insightful discussions with company leaders across Elkhart & St. Joseph counties at Wieland Designs, Inc., Tri Pac, Inc., and Polygon Composites Technology to learn more about specific training needs related to digital technologies. Also, thank you to Michael Shoemaker and Natalie Zaderej Medich for hosting our team and sharing your expertise to inform our work as well. iNDustry Labs at the University of Notre Dame is a true thought leader in the space of digital transformation and has provided technical services to 100+ industry projects in the region over the last few years.
