Good to see great back and forth between among news and food safety officials!

In my video yesterday about McDonald's new marketing campaign aimed at moving the company further away from the food safety outbreak it was recently connected to, I received several interesting comments from food safety officials including Elena Montoya and Francine Shaw, CP-FS, FMP who said—among other things—that McDonald’s should use such a campaign to address its recent food safety issue in order to reassure the public that it will have stronger safety measures going forward. Here’s my question: how do we get a company like McDonald’s to do that? Because while I do agree that such a campaign would be beneficial to both the public and the company, how do we convince these companies that will be the case? That’s the question I have for food safety officials this morning. I’d love to hear some thoughts and ideas!
