?? We are thrilled to welcome our new VP of Business Development Matt Engler to the iMicrobes team! With a background in business development and capital formation, he brings 15+ years of leadership in building bio-based materials businesses and innovative solutions in industrial biotech. ?? Matt has worked to commercialize many products from bioplastics to renewable commodity chemicals to novel proteins. His experience will be key as we establish partnerships to scale and commercialize our biomanufacturing processes, harnessing renewable, low-carbon feedstocks. In his words: “I am excited by the potential of iMicrobes' technology to make a real impact on the future of our planet. Products in the acrylic acid value chain and other materials derived from P3HP are integral to our daily lives. Producing them in a way that reduces climate impact and petroleum reliance, while matching performance and cost, will be truly transformational.” Outside of work, you might find him on early morning road cycling adventures or enjoying time with his family. ????♂????????? Welcome aboard! ? #imicrobes #biotech #circulareconomy #fermentation #biobased #acrylicacid

We are excited to share that iMicrobes has been selected as a recipient in the DOE’s Voucher Program! ?? This opportunity enables us to collaborate with Moeller Ventures, LLC for a third-party analysis of our technology and its uniqueness within the patent landscape — strengthening the foundation of our work in biomanufacturing as we move toward commercial production. The Voucher Program is a fantastic initiative, providing resources to drive commercialization of clean energy technologies. Congratulations to all the recipients!
?? The latest Voucher Recipients have confirmed their partnerships with Voucher Providers—worth over $20M! Congratulations to the organizations that have been matched through DOE’s Voucher Program! The U.S. DOE Office of Technology Transitions, in collaboration with the Offices of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management | U.S. Department of Energy, and Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), previously announced that over 170 companies, tribes, and local governments will receive support to advance commercialization of clean energy technologies in the form of in-kind DOE-funded vouchers. The #VoucherProgram is designed to grant small businesses, local governments, and other non-traditional partners access to the vetted resources and expertise they need to bring their clean energy technologies and projects to the next level. In this recent round, the program offered 7 different Vouchers support across many capabilities ranging from testing facility access to trusted third-party subject matter expertise.
