  • Funding Opportunity for Small & Medium-Sized Manufacturers! Great news for manufacturers looking to boost efficiency and sustainability! The DOE Industrial Training & Assessment Centers (ITAC) Implementation Grant Program is now accepting applications on a rolling basis. If your company received an IAC or CHP TAP assessment between 2018 and 2024, you may qualify for grants covering up to 50% of project costs (max $300,000 per manufacturer) to implement energy efficiency and productivity recommendations. Who can apply? Small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) Eligible projects: Energy/material efficiency, cybersecurity, waste reduction, smart manufacturing Funding available: $400 million total, grants Follow the link in the comments for more details.

  • Framing the Future: Industrial Technologies Photo Contest Winners The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) has selected the winners of its Industrial Technologies Photo Contest! In hopes of promoting their goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, IEDO recognized and awarded amateur and professional photographers for their documentation of major innovations in decarbonization within the industrial sector. Submissions were encouraged to include photos in one of six categories, including decarbonizing industries like steel, cement, and food, as well as cross-sector technologies, onsite energy, water treatment, and creative interpretations. The IEDO awarded $2,000 to the winners of the grand prizes. The runner-ups received $1,000 and honorable mention winners received $500. $2,000 Grand Prize Winners?
