Soon we'll share how we're bringing doctors directly to Tribal communities using technology that makes specialists feel like they're in the room with you, within a healing space that honors traditional ways. ?? Federal Funding Freeze Rescinded. The Call for Clarity Continues. ?? On January 27, 2025, the OMB issued a federal funding freeze, creating immediate uncertainty for Tribal healthcare, education, and public safety programs. Within days, legal challenges led to the freeze being blocked, and by January 29, the memo was rescinded. But here’s the catch: federal funding reviews are still happening, leaving Tribal programs at risk. The confusion hasn’t disappeared, and unclear policies continue to pose threats to Tribal sovereignty and essential services. Tribes deserve clarity. That’s why we’re here. At Indigenous Pact, we break down complex, confusing policies to ensure Tribal leaders have the knowledge and support they need. Our Intergovernmental Affairs Office is actively monitoring these developments to guide Tribes through the uncertainty. Read our latest blog to understand what the memo’s rescission really means and what it doesn’t: https://hubs.la/Q035Qdp60 Reach out to our Intergovernmental Affairs Office for support. #TribalSovereignty #FederalFunding #IndigenousPact #TribalAdvocacy #PolicyUpdate

Today marks Native American Heritage Day, a time to recognize the rich cultures, enduring resilience, and lasting contributions of Native peoples across America. It's a moment to pause and reflect on the values and traditions that shape our daily work and lives. We draw strength from this legacy as we work to transform healthcare in our communities. It guides us to be brave in changing existing conditions, empathetic in honoring each tribe's unique story, and transformative in creating positive change for our people. Honoring our past while creating new traditions for generations to come. #NativeAmericanHeritageDay #IndigenousHealth #IndigenousPact

Our journey to Montgomery with the Equal Justice Initiative moved us beyond words. Through powerful readings, meaningful discussions, and visits to the Legacy Museum, we experienced what happens when we stop running and start talking. Like the hands that clasped together to strengthen weakened walls, our team grew closer in understanding - of each other, our shared past, and our vision for tomorrow. This experience deepened our commitment at Indigenous Pact: when we stand united, healing becomes possible ?? Together, we grow into consciousness and build a future where every story matters. #EqualJusticeInitiative #IndigenousPact
