We stand with our friends at Food and Water Watch & Oil Change International as they join those on the frontlines across the US this week in meetings with elected officials to share their concerns about carbon capture pipelines and projects. Join us in applying pressure on members of Congress by Calling 866-582-4813 TOMORROW and tell your rep to not waste taxpayer money on CCS! #CCSDayOfAction #NoCarbonCapture

?? Water is life ?? For Indigenous Peoples, protecting water means protecting entire ecosystems, languages, and ways of life. When our waters thrive, so do our lands, our relations, and our languages—because biodiversity and linguistic diversity are deeply connected. Colonial systems and corporations continue to threaten what our ancestors have always safeguarded, but our people remain steadfast in protecting this source of life of living relatives. On #WorldWaterDay, we honor all water protectors who defend our sacred waters as well as the Indigenous language warriors that carry forward and protect our knowledge systems so they can too, thrive and flow just like our waters. ????? #WaterIsLife #LanguageIsMedicine #WaterProtectors?

The trial verdict is in. A jury found Greenpeace International and two Greenpeace entities in the US liable for over US$ 660 million combined in Energy Transfer’s meritless SLAPP lawsuit. Energy Transfer Partners tries to erase Indigenous leadership from Standing Rock's history. We know the truth - our movement was born from prayer+ceremony, led by Native women + youth. No corporation can silence us. #WaterIsLife #WeWillNotBeSilenced #StopBigOilBullies #ShutDownDAPL?

?? Our forests are more than land—they are our relatives, our ancestors, and the foundation of our ways of being. Protecting them is not just a choice; it is our responsibility, one that has sustained life since time immemorial. Yet colonial systems continue to sever these sacred bonds, turning living forests into mere commodities. Carbon markets and other false solutions do not protect our lands—they commodify them, allowing destruction elsewhere while threatening our sovereignty, knowledge, and livelihoods. Climate justice will never come from?market schemes but rather in the restoration of our relationships with the land and Indigenous stewardship at the center. #InternationalDayOfForests #IndigenousSovereignty #NoFalseSolutions?#NoCarbonMarkets #ForestsAreRelatives

?? As the Spring Equinox balances light and dark, we are reminded that growth follows rest, and renewal comes with harmony. This season is a reflection of the cycles that have sustained our ancestors—where balance, respect, and connection to Mother Earth guide us forward. ???? Let us honor Mother Earth’s awakening and the dreams we carry for a thriving future. May our spirits align with the rhythms of the land, and may we walk with humility and gratitude into this season of renewal. ?? #SpringEquinox #SeasonOfRenewal

? Honoring Matriarchs of Environmental Justice Future ? As we celebrate Herstory Month, we uplift the next generation of Indigenous matriarchs—young leaders, water protectors, land defenders, system shakers, and knowledge keepers who are carrying forward the fight for environmental justice. They are learning from our ancestors, standing on the shoulders of today’s matriarchs, and forging new paths for sovereignty, healing, justice, and the protection of Mother Earth. Their voices, visions, and actions are shaping a future where our lands, waters, and communities thrive. We honor them today and every day. Our future is in powerful hands. ?????? #HerstoryMonth #FutureMatriarchs #EnvironmentalJustice #IndigenousWomenInLeadership #SheLeads?

??? Indigenous Just Transition is sovereignty in action. It’s about reclaiming our rights to land, water, and ways of life—shifting from extraction to regeneration on our own terms. By centering Indigenous leadership, laws, and traditions, we are building a future where our communities thrive in balance with the natural world. ???? Our self-determination is non-negotiable. Our sovereignty must be respected. #IndigenousJustTransition #SovereigntyInAction #SelfDetermination ?? Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dQgsfSk6

Energy Transfer, the oil giant behind DAPL, is suing Greenpeace USA for $300M—falsely claiming they organized the #NoDAPL resistance. This lawsuit erases Indigenous leadership and threatens our right to protest. If Energy Transfer wins, it sets a dangerous precedent: corporations could weaponize the courts to silence advocacy and hold protesters accountable for others’ actions. This fight is bigger than Greenpeace—it’s about defending free speech, Indigenous sovereignty, and the right to resist corporate harm. We will not be silenced. ?? Honoring and Protecting Our Rivers ?? On this International Day of Action for Rivers, we recognize that rivers are more than just water—they are living, breathing relatives that sustain life, culture, and healing. For Indigenous peoples, rivers are not resources to be exploited but sacred beings with whom we hold deep, reciprocal relationships. From the Amazon to the Mississippi, from the Pigeon River to the Colorado, our rivers have long been under attack by extraction, pollution, and colonial policies that disregard Indigenous sovereignty. Yet, Indigenous communities remain on the frontlines—defending waterways, restoring ecosystems, and ensuring future generations inherit clean and thriving rivers. Protecting rivers means protecting the lands, languages, and traditions they nourish. It means honoring Indigenous rights, respecting the teachings of water protectors, and resisting destruction in all its forms. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to defend the rivers that have always defended us. #ProtectOurRivers #WaterIsLife #IndigenousWaterProtectors #LandBack #InternationalDayOfActionForRivers
