We are proud to share that the SFA Northern Plains Tribal Solar Coalition has officially been renamed the Tribal Renewable Energy Coalition!? This new name reflects our shared vision for growth and inclusivity beyond regional boundaries. Originally created in response to the EPA Solar For All Proposal submitted in October 2023, the Coalition was awarded the grant in April 2024, thanks to the efforts of the MHA Nation, Indigenized Energy, and 13 Tribes across ND, SD, MT, WI, and WY. The name change signifies a new chapter, where we aim to expand the Coalition in the coming years to include all tribal communities, not limited by geography. This name was chosen by the Coalition members themselves, and with it, we look forward to continued progress, collaboration, and energy sovereignty for all tribal nations. #TribalRenewableEnergyCoalition #EnergySovereignty #SolarForAll #IndigenizedEnergy #TribalEmpowerment #GrowthAndInclusion #RenewableEnergy #EPA #CleanEnergyFuture
