After years of collaborating with the world's top luxury brands, we've identified what sets these experiences apart: unexpected moments of delight, meticulous attention to materiality, and a groundedness in the physical place and local culture. Browse through these projects to see what we mean: → Almare, A Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort: After researching Mayan culture and customs, Indiewalls curators set out to source pieces made from indigenous materials and artists. The result is a collection that fully showcases the artisanal craftsmanship of the region in contemporary ways, from handmade macramé art by MX Atelier to frames crafted from locally-sourced parota wood. → SLS Baha Mar: A sign of royalty and power, peacocks are known for roaming free in some areas of the Bahamas. We worked with artist Valero Doval to create customized, vibrant wall coverings that realistically reflect not only the majestic peacock but other Bahamian wildlife, flora, and fauna while seamlessly blending into each room's aesthetic. As a result, guests are able to deeply engage with the island's natural wonders, even while indoors. → Loews Hotels & Co Ventana Canyon: The lushness of the Sonoran Desert cannot be overstated, and no two sunsets are exactly alike. As a nod to that diversity, there are subtle differences between rooms at the resort, and Indiewalls curators opted for resonant tones of deep red, earthy ochre, and dusty blues. Layered prints and framing add to the effect, mimicking the region's unique light and shadow patterns.

Dinner at Autor at Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya: 10/10. My first year at Hospitality Design Summit, I didn’t know anyone—let alone host a dinner for people I didn’t know. Fast forward a few years, and many of those once-strangers are now friends. Which means I get to host dinners with people I genuinely love. I got to kick off the event with great conversation, nonstop laughs, and an incredible group of humans. These are the moments that make this industry feel like magic. Grateful to everyone who joined and helped make it unforgettable. ??

Spotlighting North Carolina and South Carolina's extraordinary artists today with some of our favorite talent: Kelly Sheppard Murray:? She transforms materials found in hardware stores into biomorphic forms, drawing inspiration from plants, moss, lichen, fungi, shells, and geological forms. Collecting hundreds of sculptural elements, Murray slowly and deliberately assembles her pieces for installation—each one a unique building block within the visual language she articulates within her exhibitions. Gus Cutty:? In his teens he became obsessed with graffiti and hiphop culture and began experimenting with spray paint for the first time. Today, he travels the world, drawing on his experience creating commercial murals and his love of graffiti, letter structure, street art, and hip-hop culture. Katie Stewart:? If you've been to downtown Raleigh, you may have seen Katie's creation, Raleigh's Smallest Park. Her installations are unexpected, fun, and captivating — think towering illuminated inflatables to enchanting giant toadstool sculptures made from reclaimed material. Jean Gray M.:? Jean's mixed media art is deeply informed by her personal experience with chronic illness and disability. Her organic wooden creations explore both vulnerability and resiliency, weaving in fragile waxed thread to show the juxtaposition between strength and fragility.? Do you know of any other Carolinas talent that should be on our radar? Tag them below so we can check them out!?

Healing starts with the environment — and art plays a crucial role in that process. As one of the largest healthcare providers in Nevada, collaborating with Renown Health meant navigating complex logistics and executing with the highest attention to detail. However, above all, was the focus was on the healing nature of the art. The aim was to curate a collection that evokes comfort, peace, and rejuvenation while supporting the needs of patients, families, and the Renown staff. With a deep sensitivity to the psychological impact of art in healthcare spaces, the curatorial team applied key design principles to foster healing environments and safe spaces, such as: ?Focusing on local flora, fauna, and wildlife to create balance and a sense of serenity. ? Crafting artful “look again” moments that engage and provide positive distraction. ? Creating bright, playful murals to bring joy and warmth to patients who can't go outside. Tying it all together, the collection mirrors a journey through Nevada — from Pyramid Lake to Lake Tahoe? — creating a visual experience that feels familiar, grounding, and restorative to all. Special thanks to our partners Renown Health, Samantha Koblitz and Katie Moresi, as well as our partners at Perkins&Will, Holly Ewing and Nicki Hellem. Honored to work together to aid Renown Health in their healing mission and serve their community!

HD Summit brings together hospitality’s top minds to exchange ideas and gain fresh perspectives about what’s shaping the industry today. And art is an essential part of that conversation. It creates a sense of place, tells a story, and transforms how people engage with spaces. We’re looking forward to connecting with industry peers, discussing what’s next, and diving into how art continues to shape hospitality in meaningful ways. Indiewalls team members Alexandra Newman, Gavi Wolf, and Courtney Webster will be there—if you will, too, let’s connect. Drop a comment or DM us. #HDSummit #HospitalityDesign

We keep printing, framing, and sampling in-house. It's a choice we make so we can execute each project with the highest standards of quality control and ultimately deliver on a client's vision. For example – for this work in progress, featuring collage artist Valero Doval, we needed large-scale bronze mirrors printed with antique and floral layers. Unice, our Indiewalls Print Lead, was in charge of making it all happen. Here's what the entire process looked like: 1. Unice sourced 44x72" mirrors with the just-right amount of bronze sheen. 2. Valero created artwork with multiple antique and floral layers. 3. Unice and the production team printed the antique layer onto the mirrors. 4. Finally, the second layer of floral print was added. Thanks to Unice and our awesome print production team for sharing your process! We love seeing your work at every step along the way ????

Discover the heart of the Bahamas with wallcoverings celebrating local flora. At the SLS Baha Mar hotel in Nassau, Bahamas, Indiewalls teamed up with artist Valero Doval to create a collection of stunning wallcoverings inspired by the lush, vibrant beauty of the islands. Drawing from the Bahamas' jungle, these realism-inspired artworks transport visitors into the vibrant, colorful world of local flora and fauna. With intricate details, from palm trees to the majestic peacock, every piece invites a deeper exploration into the natural wonders that make the islands truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to our incredible partners at Baha Mar (Patrick Kluck, Jordanna Kelly, John Cox, Darchell Henderson, Davia Fox) and our design partners like Julie Ann Loftiss and Kylie Fournier for their collaboration - your support made this vision come to life! Swipe to experience these wallcoverings up close. We’d love to hear your thoughts—what element of this design captures your attention most? Photography by Robyn Damianos.

Local independent artists with a strong POV are at the heart of what we do at Indiewalls. Take Fernanda Martínez, a California-based artist whose vibrant, nature-inspired work is currently up in Allspring's L.A. offices. While Fernanda's love of color and natural shapes might be obvious at a glance, what's less apparent is the backstory behind these two pieces. "These paintings share a specific style and color palette," Fernanda explains. "When you look at them together, they seem like brother and sister. I experimented with hard edges and layers for these; I was seeking to push composition and use of color in my work." So, how does it feel to see her experimental works displayed in L.A.? "I'm always happy to see where my art ends up," Fernanda emphasizes. "Indiewalls did a great job coordinating different artists' works." Want to see more like this? The Los Angeles office is just one of 20+ Allspring Global Investments office locations around the world that Indiewalls designed and outfitted with customized art. See more about it here, and let us know which one stands out to you! https://lnkd.in/ge5cC5Gr
