We are officially #HalfwaytoHistory! Introducing the newest six schools joining our Colts Girls Flag Football program. Through the “Road to 100,” several new schools have committed to field a team: -Dekalb Central High School -Hammond Morton High School -New Albany High School -Rooted School -Churubusco High School -21st Century Academy These new teams, along with the existing 45 teams, bring the number of committed schools to 51, over halfway to our goal. All-Pro linebacker Zaire Franklin has recently been announced as one of the NFL's Global Flag Football Ambassadors! In this role, Franklin will join with NFL players and legends, flag football national team members, coaches, officials and football pioneers, to promote the growth of flag football around the world. Fresh off this announcement, Franklin spearheaded a flag clinic with Raymond Park Middle School, alongside the NFL and Warren Central High School's Girls Flag Team. Kicking off NFL Combine week in Indianapolis with a powerful conversation about the future of flag football. We hosted the Flag Football Stakeholders Meeting at the NCAA headquarters, bringing together national leaders and Indiana high school superintendents and athletic directors to discuss the sport’s growing momentum, from emerging collegiate pathways to its debut in the 2028 Olympics. Hear from one of our guest speakers, NFL Vice President, Head of Flag Football Stephanie Kwok, as she shares insights on how flag football is creating new opportunities for the next generation of athletes. The Combine is about the NFL's Rising Stars, but that we're also looking at these rising stars.
