From an early age, Peter Reynolds enjoyed working with his hands, solving problems and spending time outdoors. Whether he was doing chores or helping repair a piece of machinery in the barn, Reynolds' grandfather taught him how to work through challenges with patience, optimism and creativity. These values have been essential in his career as a superintendent with Fox Contractors Corp.
Working construction jobs in the summers to help pay his way through college, Reynolds finished with a degree in history from Indiana University in Bloomington. After working in the non-profit world a few years, he missed working outside, reviewing plans and solving problems. Looking for a change, Reynolds bought a small landscaping and excavating business and enjoyed self-employment for seven years. But ultimately, he wanted to work on larger projects and had particular interest in public utility work and road building.
Since starting with Fox in 2018, he's been able to realize his goals. From heavy-highway to commercial site-development, every day is different and presents its own set of challenges. Reynolds approaches each project optimistically and remembers his early childhood lessons as a foundation for success.???
