"IU means service ... all of our students are getting hands-on experience, they're working in the community, they're really doing that third pillar of our 2030 [Indiana University strategic] plan, which is making sure that their education means more than just knowledge ... but actually goes outside of the walls of the Sample Gates." I had a fascinating discussion with Isak Asare, co-director of IU's Cybersecurity and Global Policy Program and assistant dean of undergraduate education and student affairs in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global & International Studies. Together we uncovered how IU prepares students and researchers to tackle complex challenges in cybersecurity, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and address pressing questions about humanity in the evolving field of AI. #BringOnTomorrow
