It's a busy week for the Government Affairs team at Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT). Yesterday, we met with members of the Senate Business & Commerce Committee before their hearing regarding pending business & had three critical meetings with House members regarding pending bills. Today, we're attending the House Insurance Committee meeting & testifying on two bills that pertain to P&C insurance. Tomorrow, we'll be attending the Senate B&C committee to testify in support of two bills that will help protect our customers.
