Progressive Field Upgrades in Full Swing! ??? #TeamIX Civil and Demo crews have been working hard to bring major improvements to Progressive Field, ensuring the ballpark is ready for the Cleveland Guardians upcoming season! Civil Work Highlights: ? Home Team Clubhouse Ramp – Installed low headroom micropiles, a soil mix shoring wall, and a jetted well point dewatering system to allow excavation for new concrete footers and walls with waterproofing. This new ramp location will provide Guardians players access from the new clubhouse and locker room to the field while making way for dugout suite upgrades. ? Visiting Team Clubhouse Ramp – Excavated and installed concrete footers and walls for a new ramp connecting the visiting team’s clubhouse and locker room to the field, replacing the old stair access. ? Hydrotherapy Pools – Installed a gravity shoring system to excavate and install a 54” thick reinforced concrete footer extension, replacing the 54” thick footer that was removed to make room for 3 new hydrotherapy pools. ? Additional Concrete Work – We completed slab-on-grade and concrete repairs throughout the service level clubhouse renovations to assist in keeping the project on schedule. ?? Thanks to our subcontractors Schnabel , Platform Cement, Inc., Griffin Fluid Management, and The AKA Team for their work on shoring, concrete, dewatering, and waterproofing. ? Demo Work Highlights: ? We Installed 200 crane mats to create stable access for heavy equipment and field operations. ? Completed 90,000 SF of interior demolition, including the removal of locker rooms, weight and therapy rooms, and office spaces. ? Removed existing dugout suites to make way for the construction of the new Carnegie Club, enhancing premium seating and fan experience. ? Our teams work 24/7 for two consecutive weeks, ensuring the project stayed on schedule and met critical deadlines.
