Through the initiative, Indagare fully funds The Long Shields Lion Guaridans program in and around Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. The organization was founded in 2004 under Oxford’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCru) with the mission to protect both lions and local communities from human-wildlife conflict.
