Happy 30th Anniversary to the CDFI Fund This week Inclusiv celebrated the 30th anniversary of the CDFI Fund in an event in Washington DC. Inclusiv was instrumental in creating the CDFI fund, thanks to the leadership of our former CEO, Cliff Rosenthal. In the DC event We heard from Bill Clinton, who signed the Riegle Act into law, creating the Fund in 1994, and a group of inspiring business owners who have worked with #CDFIs to grow their businesses. U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen took the moment to announce $76 million in Technical Assistance (TA) awards for 256 CDFIs to build their capacity to provide financial products and services to low-income and underserved people and communities across America **Since 2010, the CDFI movement has originated nearly $320 billion in loans supporting financial inclusion, homeownership, local small businesses, and affordable housing. CDFIs are an engine for equitable economic growth. Championing financial inclusion since 1974. Celebrating 50 years!
关于我们
At Inclusiv, we believe that true financial inclusion and empowerment is a fundamental right. Every day, we dedicate ourselves to closing the gaps and removing barriers in financial opportunities for distressed and underserved communities. We face these challenges head-on by providing capital, making connections, and developing innovative products and services for community development credit unions – and working to transform local progress into lasting change at the national level. Success is measured by the results we deliver for our members, and the impact they have on the lives of the people in their communities. Because we know that the right answer at the right time can convert a problem into an opportunity, and an opportunity into impact.
