Outbound success isn’t about finding a single perfect formula—it’s about continuous learning and adaptation. And that’s exactly what we plan to keep doing. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been refining our approach to outbound for Sonar, testing hyper-personalized messaging with a more selective focus. Instead of customizing outreach for every prospect upfront, we started with broader campaigns to identify engaged prospects—those showing intent by opening emails multiple times—before following up with tailored messaging. The results so far? Mixed. While we’ve seen some engagement, it’s clear that personalization alone isn’t always enough to drive conversions. We’re still working to pinpoint when personalization is most impactful, which types of sequences are most effective, and how to balance scale with meaningful outreach. That said, we believe this approach has long-term potential. The more we test, the more we refine our process—and each iteration brings us closer to a strategy that maximizes both efficiency and results. We’ll continue experimenting with different sequence structures, timing, and personalization techniques to optimize performance.
