On Veterans Day, we proudly participated in the 2024 Patriots in Business Awards hosted by Thayer Leadership at Nasdaq in Times Square, New York. It was an honor for our CEO, Erich Sanchack and Joe Walker from New Mountain Capital to attend the Opening Bell Ceremony. With over 20,000 attendees, this event celebrated companies committed to supporting veterans. Seeing Salute’s logo on the iconic Nasdaq screen was a powerful reminder of our mission - employing over 4,000 military community members over the past decade. We’re inspired by the amazing companies recognized this year and reaffirm our commitment to supporting veterans in the data center industry. https://lnkd.in/dVecuC3M #PatriotsInBusinessAwards #DataCenters #Veterans

Since our inception, Salute has been dedicated to recruiting and supporting tens of thousands of veterans, recognizing the unparalleled skills and leadership they bring to the data center industry. Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the significant contributions veterans have made to our organization and the industry as a whole. After Salute won the prestigious Patriots in Business Award last year, Erich Sanchack and Lee Kirby had the honor of serving on this year’s judging panel. Yesterday, Erich and Joe Walker of New Mountain Capital had the privilege of attending the Nasdaq opening bell ceremony for this year’s awards. It was also a great honor to see the Salute logo showcased on the Nasdaq tower! This distinguished award celebrates businesses that lead in supporting active-duty military members, veterans, and their families, while embodying the values of Duty, Honor, and Country. The efforts of today’s nominees not only inspire us but set a standard for excellence in military support across the business landscape. #VeteransDay?#PatriotsInBusinessAwards

It was a proud moment and super important day, with over 150 young adults from the military cadet community and students from the local college attending a panel session to learn more about the data center industry. Thank you to DatacenterDynamics for providing the platform. In the room was the future of our industry, and the feedback has been fantastic. Congratulations to Alison Marlow, EMBA and Cyre Mercedes Denny-Quinones - it was a great event and very rewarding for Michael Evans and Robyn Theriault to take part. Looking forward to hearing more from Robyn on how the executive roundtable went with these inspiring young people. #dcdconnect24 #datacentertalent

We’re pleased to have participated in yesterday’s insightful and engaging DatacenterDynamics Panel debate, 'Data Center Demolition: A Bold Move or a Bad Bet?' Iconicx services Director SME team Chris Schager delved into the discussion on demolition versus retrofit. The conversation tackled critical questions: Is demolishing and rebuilding the better approach, or does retrofitting provide a more sustainable path forward? Chris highlighted that key takeaways from the panel included forming new connections, a fantastically engaged audience, and several panelists discussing the importance of local community awareness in every aspect of data center operations. A big thank you to the fellow panelists and attendees for such an enriching debate! #DataCenterDemolition?#DCDVirginia?#DCDConnect
