Understanding lead frustration: We targeted IT services, a lookalike of our current customers. The key pain point: "Every IT CEO I talk to hates using Upwork for leads." 2. Region: I used to avoid targeting regions outside the U.S., but I was wrong! Countries like India, UAE, UK, and Europe offer huge potential. You can close more deals by reaching out beyond the U.S. 3. Authority + Case Studies: Since the list was similar to our customers, it was easier to convince them on calls. Found this useful? Thought leadership ads + Organic Posts + Email / DMs. Every month we post about 20 times. Out of this, we'll find a "winning" organic post. Winning in our case is >50,000 impressions. More often than not, it walks through a customer success story. (Everyone loves actionable, advice from operators, along with numbers). Once you have your winning post, ??Break down your Ideal Customer Persona (Job titles - funding - geography - industry) ??Build a company list (10,000 profiles min.) Run ads to only those people but you need 10k contacts. ??Start to warmup 100 inboxes on Smartlead Newsflash: Most of the deals still happen over email. ??Run those thought leadership ad against that list.
