The Turin Living Lab is demonstrating the benefits of CCAM in Italy! On 27 February, the Living Lab's Awareness Event brought together experts, institutions, and innovators in Tutin. The spotlight? ?? The oHMIo Lift self-driving shuttle, now navigating Turin’s urban streets, tackling real-world traffic in a groundbreaking test of automated mobility. This pioneering trial, running until March, is testing the real-life implications of automated driving and CCAM services. With TTS Italia, 5T - Services and Innovation for Mobility, and Fondazione LINKS as project partners involved, and the support of the City of Turin, GTT - Gruppo Torinese Trasporti S.p.A., and Ohmio, the event showcased: ?? On 27th of February the last Awareness event of IN2CCAM project took place successfully in #Turin. The IN2CCAM’s awareness events aim at demonstrating the potential of Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) in urban and peri-urban environment to citizen and stakeholders. Turin has a Lead Living Lab in the project. After welcoming words from the different teams related to the Turin Lead Living Lab (TTS Italia, Fondazione LINKS, and 5T - Services and Innovation for Mobility), the IN2CCAM project was presented by its coordinator, Maria Pia Fanti from Politecnico di Bari. GTT, the Turin ?Transport Group related to tests and demonstrations in Turin, was introduced. The event continued with technical presentations from the Turin LL teams, showcasing at different technical levels the tests and the results. The morning session concluded with an interactive discussion with experts about the usage of CCAM. In the afternoon, the presentations continued with a live demonstration of the autonomous shuttle. The Awareness event related task is leaded by Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)

IN2CCAM Awareness Events Last week, the Bari #LivingLab showcased key findings from its innovative CCAM simulations and use cases. The event highlighted the smart Route Planner designed for inclusivity and real-time traffic adaptation, alongside a last-mile delivery solution optimising micro-hubs and dynamic routing to reduce congestion and emissions. Last week, #RTR2025 brought together key stakeholders to showcase the latest EU-funded research in road transport. #IN2CCAM was presented in the session 'Integration and Large-Scale Demonstration of CCAM Solutions', highlighting our progress towards scalable, deployment-ready CCAM services. Our project is bridging the gap between research and real-world implementation by integrating connected and automated mobility solutions into existing transport ecosystems. With a focus on interoperability, governance models, and advanced simulations, we are working towards making CCAM deployment a reality across Europe. ?? Tomorrow, the #IN2CCAM project will hold its Awareness Event in Bari, bringing together local stakeholders, experts, and associations to discuss its advancements in enhancing integration and interoperability of the CCAM eco-system The event will feature presentations on the Bari Living Lab and key simulation results, followed by discussions on urban mobility challenges for both people and freight ?? Key topics include the development and simulation of a Route Planner, as well as innovative urban freight transport and logistics. This event marks another step toward integrating new mobility solutions into real-world urban environments. Another successful edition of the annual RTR Conference took place last week in Brussels! ??
