In-House Counsel Worldwide

Back from In-house Counsel Worldwide (ICW) annual meeting in Paris. It was great to have member association leaders from Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, Ivory Coast, Phillippines, Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Canada there in person and have India and South Africa join online for the AGM. Thanks to our organizing committee led by Charlotte PINGUET of AFJE and Stephanie Lockhart, CAE, CMP, Herbert Smith Freehills for hosting the meetings at their lovely offices steps from the Arc de Triumph and to our sponsors Mondaq (Tim Harty), Willis Towers Watson, Microsoft, and DiliTrust for their thoughtful presentations and support. Following the meetings, I am excited about the year ahead for ICW and its member organizations. Congratulations In-house Counsel Worldwide (ICW) Executive Director Geoffrey Creighton on his retirement from that role. Geoff was the first President of ICW and then went on to serve as its Executive Director during a key phase in its development. I was pleased to recognize his contributions at the ICW's recent annual meetings in Paris. Thanks Geoff for your leadership over these many years and of course agreeing to be on my speed dial as questions come up in the future.

What better way to wrap up the ICW annual meetings and our Parisian experience than in the company of our?DiliTrust?colleagues as they hosted our finale tour down the Seine. Thank you?Lorea Garaikoetxea Eseverri?and?Cyril Godet for your support of ICW and for your hospitality!

Au revoir Paris ! The ICW Annual meeting in Paris was a productive and successful event that brought together organizations from various countries around the world - each of them representing in-house lawyers. They shared, they collaborated, they planned ahead... and they were treated to world class French hospitality thanks to the generous support of partners Mondaq, WTW, Microsoft and DiliTrust.
