Stakeholders across the Army converged on Springville, Utah to participate in IMSAR’s first Army Showcase Day. The purpose of the event was to discuss and demonstrate how IMSAR’s family of low-Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) radar systems can support the Army’s family of UASs. Attendees enjoyed valuable discussions with IMSAR engineers and operators, learned of the successes IMSAR radars have had globally, and toured the manufacturing floor and IMSAR hangar. TEKEVER is showing everyone how it’s done in maritime surveillance! ????Proud moment alert ??: We’ve just unveiled our latest and greatest UAV technologies at the NATO REPMUS 2024 exercise, right here around Portugal’s stunning Troia Peninsula. Our AR3 and AR5 UAVs have been working hard on land and sea, taking on Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions like pros – even showing off in an amphibious operation! The cherry on top? ?? Our AR5 made history by deploying sonobuoys underwater. And if that wasn’t enough, we teamed up with IMSAR to pack a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) into the AR5, alongside EO/IR cameras and satellite comms. Skyfront partnered up with our friends at IMSAR during the summer to showcase drone-borne Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), at high altitude and in an extremely hot desert environment. During the event, we were tracking moving vehicles, people, and car tracks, over areas that are simply too large to do with a traditional FMV ball.

From concept to operation in less than three weeks! Earlier this year, IMSAR and Skyfront rapidly integrated the NSP-2 radar onto the Perimeter 8 long endurance hybrid multicopter. The dynamic duo demonstrated the ability to collect actionable intelligence day or night, in almost any weather condition, and over wide areas. At 4.5 lbs, the NSP-2 brings huge capability, such as SAR imaging, CCD, GMTI and MMTI, to a small Group 2 UAS, enabling strategic ISR at the tactical edge.
