Back in 2021, we embarked on a full renovation of the TITAN Arena using our first SBIR Phase III award for our aligned construction process. ? Seeing the incredible results coming out of the TITAN initiative is a testament to the importance of investing in high-performance environments like this. ? The TITAN Arena is making a significant impact on pilot health and performance, with impressive stats like: ? A 25% reduction in recovery time. ? A 35% increase in strength and conditioning gains. ? Over 1,000 pilots benefiting from the advanced facilities. ? It's rewarding to know that our work is contributing to such meaningful outcomes for our nation's warfighters. ? Connecting a space with its people is no small task, which is why we’re grateful for our partner McKee Wallwork (MW), seasoned experts in organizational identity. The MW team plays a vital role in the beginning of our Omega Construction Process by engaging our clients in meaningful conversations that will go on to play a key role in the articulation of the organization’s identity expressed through their space. These initial conversations help to ensure that we’re well-aligned with our client’s mission, values and culture, leading to better outcomes, happier clients, and truly transformative spaces. During World War II, Winston Churchill insisted on rebuilding the bombed-out House of Commons exactly as it was. Why? Because he understood that "we shape our buildings, and afterwards, our buildings shape us." The space itself carried transformative power beyond its physical structure. The same is true for the spaces we build. Chasing the most modern or "better" solution can lead to endless tweaks without meaningful impact. Three years after the completing major renovations on their space, our client in the historic Tiwa Building found themselves in need of more private office spaces to accommodate their growing team. Had these changes needed to be made using traditional construction, it would have meant months of dust and downtime. But thanks to the prefabricated interiors already in place, these upgrades were implemented quickly, at a fraction of the cost of traditional renovations. This ongoing adaptability makes modular construction a crucial consideration early in any project. Modular construction can ensure a building remains functional and relevant for those who use it long into the future, while also decreasing the cost of ownership over the life of the building. A new infill housing project is taking shape in Albuquerque’s International District, one of the most diverse, culturally rich communities in New Mexico. This initiative, a partnership between East Central Ministries Inc, The Center for Housing Economics, and our team, aims to transform underutilized spaces into affordable housing that strengthens communities from within. By revitalizing run-down properties and creating pathways to stability, this project represents a new model for affordable housing. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when people from the community come together with a shared vision.
