At?Franny Amare, we’ve been closely analyzing the biostimulant sector’s rapid evolution, and I’m excited to share our latest report. As?Michael Key?of Impello Biosciences puts it: "We only exist to make better products and push the limits of biostimulant technologies... We don’t stop development when a product is ‘good enough’… we’re all-in on rapid advancements, so the rate of development is much faster than most of our competitors."
Franny Amare has released a comprehensive report on the biostimulant sector, analyzing key market trends, regulatory developments, and investment opportunities. As agriculture continues to evolve, biostimulants are playing an increasingly important role in improving crop productivity and soil health. This report provides insights for investors, industry professionals, and stakeholders looking to understand the trajectory of the sector and its broader implications.

Maximize your 2025 almond harvest with enhanced flower formation strategies. The tree's physiological functions heavily rely on its stored resources, facing challenges from both abiotic and biotic stressors. To overcome limitations in root nutrient uptake, foliar feeding becomes indispensable. Ensuring a balance of primary, secondary macronutrients, and micronutrients is crucial for sustaining tree vigor and yield. Additionally, incorporating amino acids is key for optimizing key processes such as promoting photosynthesis, combating low temperature stress, and facilitating nutrient transport within the tree. #almondbloom #cagrown #aminoacids

Silicon, the second most abundant element in Earth's crust, is everywhere. It’s no surprise that it’s highly beneficial for plant health. ?? Depending on who you ask—scientists, regulators, farmers, or marketers—you’ll hear silicon described in different ways. While plant scientists consider it as a nutrient, it’s still classified as non-essential. However, many argue it should be classified as essential nutrient, or maybe as "quasi-essential". Then from a regulatory perspective, it is considered a "beneficial substance". We can spend all day debating what this amazing element actually is, but what it does is far more interesting. And the list of benefits is long. ?? In our latest blog, we discuss: - The role of monosilicic acid (bioavailable silicon) as the most effective form for plants to absorb and utilize silicon. - How silicon boosts resistance to abiotic stress (salinity, heavy metals, UV, drought, heat, frost). - The role of silicon in improving nutrient uptake and distribution of elements like calcium, that have traditionally been considered immobile. While there’s still much to learn about monosilicic acid's full potential, we’ve yet to see a crop that Dune (our stabilized monosilicic acid) doesn’t benefit. Applied at surprisingly low rates, silicon delivers more on its own than many complex products with higher input rates. Read our full blog to learn more about Dune and how it benefits plants, backed by performance reports and supporting research: https://lnkd.in/dVyjrFPs

Iron, a crucial element for chlorophyll formation, is essential in preventing plant tissue chlorosis and maintaining optimal photosynthesis levels. Additionally, it plays a key role in nitrogen fixation( leguminous crops) and overall plant growth. Azospirillum brasilense, known for producing siderophores, which are iron-complexing molecules, facilitates iron acquisition from the soil environment. However, unfavorable soil conditions such as alkalinity can hinder the bioavailability of iron. Understanding the role of biology can help ensure plants effectively absorb the necessary iron for their growth and development. #PlantHealth #IronNutrition #AgriculturalScience #soil#biology

In our latest article, Marie Turner explores the critical role microbes play in the vitality of plants. Drawing parallels from studies on germ-free mice–organisms raised in sterile environments that suffer from underdeveloped immune systems and increased susceptibility to disease–Marie emphasizes that, like animals, plants have co-evolved with diverse microbial communities essential for their growth and resilience. The major takeaways: ?? Microbes enhance plant immunity, boosting tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress. ?? Beneficial bacteria break down organic matter, making unavailable nutrients more accessible to plants. ?? Microbial interactions influence plant hormones pathways, promoting robust root development and overall growth. Marie concluded that microbes aren't a luxury item but a fundamental component of healthy plant ecosystems. Share and read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gRps9SFY
