A recent example of it, is their investment in repath, a platform specializing in asset-level climate risk analysis for energy infrastructure. ? ?? Neuigkeiten vom Grow Bootcamp! ?? Am 21. November fand das Bootcamp des neuen Jahrgangs unseres Grow-Programms in Kooperation mit Impact Hub Vienna statt. In diesem Jahr hatten 15 ausgew?hlte Start-ups, die sich für die Schaffung von Arbeitschancen für eine klimaneutrale Zukunft einsetzen, die Gelegenheit, ihre Gesch?ftsideen zu pr?sentieren. Unsere Professionals gaben den Teilnehmer:innen wertvolles Feedback, um ihre Konzepte weiter zu optimieren. Zudem bot das Bootcamp zahlreiche M?glichkeiten zum Networking und Wissensaustausch. ?? Re:Wien: Empowering Sustainable Entrepreneurship for Vienna's Future ?? Re:Wien's goal is to turn early-stage ideas with the potential to address the city's sustainability challenges into reality. To achieve this, our experts play a key role, providing participants with feedback and guidance right from the start—beginning at the bootcamps. ?? ?????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ????????????????? This year, our bootcamp featured a lineup of experts such as Florian Schanznig from Wirtschaftsagentur Wien ViennaBusiness, specialist in startup development; Bertram H?upler, the sustainability lead at OekoBusiness Wien; Natascha Rohe from respACT - austrian business council for sustainable development; Clara Conrad-Billroth from univie innovation; and Laura Werner from Social Impact Award. ? Our in-house experts were also there: Evelina Lundqvist, Mustafa Ozer, Patrick Würschl, sharing their practical and entrepreneurial expertise while Nina Ameseder, founder of UseYourRight, and Edith Michaeler, founder of Zeig mir Wien and Turiosa,brought valuable peer-to-peer perspectives. ?? ? Today, we celebrate businesses that prove that making a positive impact and generating revenue can go hand in hand. Social enterprises are reshaping the way we think about success by using innovative strategies to tackle social and environmental challenges while reinvesting their profits for good. Here are three key facts about social enterprises in Austria: ? ???????? ?????? ????????????????????: 83.5% of them implemented innovations either in their operational work, through mobile apps or AI. ? ???????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ???????? ?? ????????????????????: 84.5% measure their impact, and invest on average the 8.5% of their budget into this matter. ? ???????? ?????? ?????????????????? ??????????????????: 34,000 to 93,000 people, in full-time equivalent, are working for a social enterprise. Furthermore, 43.8% of the social enterprises give job opportunities to people with different abilities or with migration background. ?For ESG and sustainability teams to achieve their goals—and go beyond them—innovation and startups are essential. That’s why we created the ESG Innovation Workshop for sustainability professionals. In collaboration with Deloitte and EIT Hub Israel, the workshop focused on four industry-related topics aligned with participants' priorities, including automotive and power generation. ?? Led by Maayan Sharon, Irena Ben Yakar, Yoav Trenter Moser, and Gal Harel, the workshop explored innovation methodologies and technologies designed to amplify ESG efforts. Participants from Erste Group and George Labs identified and evaluated initiatives that are both impactful and feasible, aligning with their organizations’ sustainability goals. A highlight of the workshop was showcasing groundbreaking solutions from startups such as Bridgewise, ECO-OS, and Viridian Analytics, each addressing critical challenges and unlocking opportunities for greater efficiency. ?
