Women have always been at the forefront of shaping healthcare, from pioneering medical discoveries to advocating for equitable access to care. This Women’s History Month, we honor the trailblazers, both past and present, who have dedicated their lives to improving health outcomes for all. One of those trailblazers is Dr. Antonia Novello, who shattered barriers as the first woman and Latina to serve as U.S. Surgeon General. Throughout her career, she championed public health initiatives that improved healthcare access for women and children, tackled the HIV/AIDS crisis, and addressed health disparities in underserved communities. Her dedication to equity in healthcare has left a lasting impact on generations to come. This #WomensHistoryMonth, we honor Dr. Novello and all the women who have paved the way for a healthier, more just future. Read more about Dr. Novello’s impact at https://lnkd.in/eKwAvzGM
