Fresh from an inspiring #ClimateWeekNYC, we are feeling hopeful and energized! It was wonderful to meet with and hear from brilliant and creative climate leaders and impact investors working to solve the global #climatecrisis. We are grateful to all who joined our Private Capital Summit: Catalyzing Climate Action in NYC to explore how impact investors can meet the moment by investing in critical areas including deep decarbonization, nature-based solutions and an inclusive energy transition. Congratulations Justice Climate Fund! JCF?has finalized its agreement with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its Clean Communities Investment Accelerator program, part of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. JCF has been awarded nearly $1 billion to provide the capital and technical knowledge necessary for community lenders to successfully finance clean energy projects in low-income and disadvantaged communities across the country.
