The voting was incredibly difficult—but in the end, everyone walked away a winner! ?? ?? It’s been a long road on the journey to selecting our Impact100 Nashville Grant Finalists! This year, 36 dedicated members reviewed 81 letters of intent, narrowing them down to 23 applicants and then 8 semi-finalists over 4 months of careful work. Our amazing members then conducted in-depth virtual visits with the semi-finalists, ultimately selecting 4 incredible finalists! TJC plans to enhance its community outreach by hiring an Intake Specialist and Community Navigator and developing a Resource Center for in-person consultations. This project will streamline their work, connect more people to services, and improve lives across Tennessee. ?? Meet Nashville Diaper Connection, our third finalist, focused on helping families in need. With Impact100’s support, they plan to launch a mobile unit that will bring diapers and essential resources directly to families at community events, providing immediate assistance while raising awareness about health and support programs. ?? Our second finalist, Friends Life Community, has supported adults with disabilities for over 16 years, creating a space where community and belonging thrive. FLC’s new plans to renovate their facility will add sensory and educational areas, expanding their programming by 20% and growing enrollment to serve even more individuals and families. ?? Meet our first finalist, A Step Ahead Foundation! Their proposed program aims to help 400 women receive access to no-cost, long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) services at local clinics. This initiative will ensure timely and comprehensive care, from consultations to LARC insertion and follow-up, giving women the opportunity to take charge of their reproductive health.
