After 6 months of going from applicant to finalist, we called on Katie Karlovitz in the home stretch for presentation advice. Her seasoned expertise helped us over the finish line, where the women of Impact100 Westchester voted for Hearts & Homes for Refugees as a recipient of a transformational grant, enabling us to launch our Dental Care and Education Program for refugees. We are enormously grateful for her gentle and expert guidance and will certainly keep Katie on our radar for more wins on behalf of refugees.

Since our first grant cycle in 2014, Impact100 Westchester has awarded nearly $3 million to local nonprofits. Each year, members contribute funds via membership dues, and evaluate proposals for transformation projects from Westchester nonprofits. At our Annual Meeting in June, the membership votes to determine which nonprofits are awarded a Transformational Project Grant. Impact100 Westchester is thrilled to announce the recipients of our $5,000 Impact100 Boost Awards for 2024! After receiving and reviewing 33 applications, the Impact Boost Review Committee selected the eight finalists that most closely align with our goal to help smaller Westchester Nonprofits make a larger Impact in our community. The eight finalists were then presented to our membership, through a voting platform, which gave them an opportunity to learn about the important services these organizations provide within the Westchester community and vote for four 2024 Impact Boost Award recipients.
