It all started when three impact investors, Astanor, Summa Equity and Wire Group came together to coordinate their approaches to impact valuation at a fund level. Keen to help supercharge the adoption of impact valuation practices globally, they approached Social Value International to convene a group of like-minded investors looking to put theory into practice. Fast forward to today, the Impact Valuation Hub is ready to launch on 21st November, with dedicated support from Valuing Impact, the Impact Institute, Capitals Coalition and the International Foundation For Valuing Impacts (IFVI). Together, these organisations bring a range of resources and experiences that can support all investors to integrate impact valuation into their investment management strategies. By converting a wide range of impact indicators into a single comparable metric, impact valuation is becoming widely recognised as an essential tool for decision-making by investors. ???? With increased attention paid to the opportunities that impact valuation can unlock, so too have an array of frameworks, methodologies and tools emerged to support its practice. ????? In response, the Impact Valuation Hub was set up to bridge gaps in knowledge, education, data, and tools that hinder the widespread adoption of impact valuation at fund level. By pooling resources, frameworks, and methodologies, the project will foster a coordinated approach that supports investors' needs. ??????
