While this article is titled “The Shift to Smart Injection Molding” what the article does not explore is the upskilling or retraining of existing employees.?It does mention that “… shifts can be disruptive, as?nearly three in four workers?lack the digital skills necessary in a tech-driven environment.”?However, the only suggestion in this article as it relates to employee retention is to “… communicate these changes with your employees and offer training programs to address any newfound skills gaps”.?While yes incorporating AI and IoT into the injection mold process will help optimize performance and make accuracy repeatable, what about the employees?
