I am super excited to announce my NEW free webinar on unleashing the power of accessible budget-friendly strategic planning for nonprofits! I will be leading it LIVE on April 17th at 12pm PST. I've been working on a simple step-by-step guide for small to medium nonprofits to do meaningful impactful strategic planning, after years of guiding small and large-scale processes. I have heard the barriers of time, money and capacity over and over again, and yet I have seen the transformative power of planning for so many nonprofits. I believe every organization should have access to the tools to create a game changing strategic plan. I’m leading this LIVE webinar on April 17th 12-1pm PST to provide steps, tools and best practices for nonprofit strategic planning, and will spend only a couple of minutes providing information about accessing the full course and guide, if you are interested. In the webinar, I am going to cover: *Getting clear on why you need a strategic plan and what kind of plan you need - so you can confidently move forward with your planning process. *What to focus on to complete a comprehensive plan to drive your organization - so your plan creates clarity, focus and alignment, ultimately generating the outcomes you need. *The pitfalls of many planning processes and how to avoid them. ...And more! You can sign up to save your spot here - https://lnkd.in/dAJxJbCy I can’t wait to see you there!

Today we wrapped up a ten month strategic planning project with Stephanie Barron Lu at Positive Discipline Community Resources! It was such an honor to support Stephanie's incredible team through an inclusive and values-based process to clarify their vision and action steps for supporting families, staff, and community partners in the next 5 years. We need PDCR's heart-centered work now more than ever!

Dear nonprofit partners- tomorrow's webinar is for you! Please note that overwhelming interest is expected for tomorrow's webinar. If you don't expect to be able to attend live, please register to receive the recording here: https://lnkd.in/gRG7-wV5.
Hurry and claim your space in our free webinar looking at the recent executive actions and what they will mean for charitable nonprofits. The last couple weeks have been a whirlwind for many nonprofits, from the more than 100 Executive Orders (EOs) issued by President Trump to the confusion about the funding freeze ordered in a memo from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). While a judge granted a Temporary Restraining Order in the case filed by the National Council of Nonprofits and others, and OMB rescinded?the memo, the EOs are still in effect, and charitable nonprofits with federal grants are still feeling the impact of these decisions. If you want to join us live, register here: https://bit.ly/42EZkHr If you can’t join us live, but want to register to receive the recording, please register here: https://bit.ly/4jHL0Ux ____________________________ Confirmed Speakers: ??Tiffany Carter, Policy Counsel, National Council of Nonprofits ??Nonoko Sato, President & CEO, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits ??Diane Yentel, President & CEO, National Council of Nonprofits

Amazing day at “Board Builders - Getting to Great” organized for and by Contra Costa nonprofit leaders and board members to learn all the essentials of being a great board of directors and how to best service the organization you are passionate about! Shout out to my incredible co-leader Wendy Willoughby at Center for Nonprofit Leadership who helped design and lead this all-day event with me. Being a great board member takes more than just caring a lot - although that’s step 1! Over 140 participants came from dozens of nonprofits to improve their practices and processes to best serve their mission. Join us for the next one this Spring! ?????????? https://lnkd.in/gsqnJ6Xq
