  • ?? Reflecting on Impact Challenge KI 2024?? This year’s Impact Challenge event took place on 15-16 March, and we can conclude it was a great success! With the theme of 'Improving well-being for expectant and new parents', participants were introduced to the design thinking methodology in a healthcare-related context. Day 1 Highlights: During the first day of the event, we were privileged with insightful presentations from our keynote speakers - Annelie Hultman, Michael Wells, and Olof Stephansson. Each brought a unique and enlightening perspective on the challenges faced by expectant and new parents, setting a perfect tone for the days ahead. Day 2 Insights: After an early breakfast and another keynote presentation by Malin Bergstr?m, participants interviewed expert users, identifying needs from the real-life experiences of new parents. The interviews were followed by a creative phase of ideation and prototyping, supported by our great design-thinking coaches. Lunchtime brought further inspiration to the participants, as they mingled with representatives from various organizations and companies, who were there to inspire the participants about how to proceed with design thinking after the event. Event Finale??: The event reached its climax as the 10 participating teams stepped up to pitch their innovative solutions to our expert jury consisting of Andreas Lundquist (KI Innovations AB), Frode Paulsen (EIT HEI Initiative), and Matilda Bilk (Familjen Psykologi). We celebrated the ending of a very enriching but busy event with a dinner party, mingling, and a fun pub quiz at the MF clubhouse, where also the winners were announced. We are incredibly happy with how we have managed to give our participants an introduction to design thinking and we would like to thank everyone involved who helped to make Impact Challenge a success! ?? We are looking forward to welcoming you all again to next year’s Impact Challenge! ?? The Project Group.
