The Impact A Hero Legacy of Freedom Celebration, honoring our veterans, was a beautiful evening, held during Veterans Day weekend, paying tribute to all veterans and highlighting our 2024 Hall of Fame. As we enter the holidays, we will further recognize these individuals and those responsible for the event's success. An event such as the Legacy of Freedom Gala would not be possible without the support of generous individuals donating their time. Today, we recognize Cheniere Energy, Inc. employees for taking time from their busy schedules to give back. These volunteers helped prepare the 350 books gifted to each event guest, representative of the Impact A Hero Cpl Casey Owens Memorial Library collection, located in Combined Arms. Our inventory of books offers a full range of titles designed to inform and engage the entire military family, and our "gala annex" provides a unique opportunity for attendees to enjoy conversations about titles received. Join us on Saturday, December 7th, for a day of self-care, introducing you to Mind-Body Skills to assist in stress reduction and trauma relief, hosted by our collaborators at the Institute for Spirituality and Health at the Texas Medical Center. As a participant, you will learn and experience valuable ways and techniques to enrich your life while enjoying a time of relaxation and healing. Impact A Hero wishes our United States Marine Corps a very happy 249th birthday! OORAH! To celebrate 249 years of success on the battlefield and a legacy defined by honor, courage and commitment - the Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Eric M. Smith and the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Carlos A. Ruiz reiterate to the force that Marines are ready to confront the challenges ahead and that the Marine Corp's reputations as warriors is a living testament.
