Impacks launched in 2020 out of the basement of its founder's, Clare & Brandon Richards. One of the very first projects the company worked on was a collaboration with United Way of Central Minnesota to provide for students in need during the pandemic. Impacks has been running this same school supply drive to support local students ever since. Even as the company has grown nationally (and thankfully, out of the basement), we're proud of all of our long-standing partnerships - especially those close to home. The 2024 school supply drive supported St. Cloud Area School District 742 students in Saint Cloud, MN. ??????

Hear from the designer: "This seemingly simple font differs from almost every other font out there for a good reason: the letterforms in the Teachers font are all based on the way we're taught to draw the alphabet in kindergarten. So it's an extremely sensible font when creating designs for students in grades K-6 because the shapes of the letters (most notably the single-decker a, the hook g and simple cross t) match the shapes of the letters in basic handwriting." Here's a little something to warm up your heart on this chilly Tuesday. Last week, we had the extraordinary pleasure of delivering 150 Eager Explorer #STEAM activity kits to second graders at St. Cloud Area School District 742 Madison Elementary School. To say this experience was heartwarming is an understatement! These students were SO excited to open their very own Eager Explorer kit and dive into one of the five activities. Our team of volunteers from Impacks, Great River Children's Museum, and Granite Rotary helped guide the students through this dimensional shapes activity and the classrooms were filled to the brim with JOY! This project has been over a year in the making. Granite Rotary was the generous sponsor, and Impacks worked with Great River Children's Museum to design the activity kit. Big shout out to Two Men and a Truck who helped us get the pallets of kits to the school. These kits are meant to ignite the fire of curiosity within a young learner, and inspire play between a child and a caring adult. We're beyond thrilled that 150 kids in St. Cloud got to take these kits home to their family to continue their own journey of exploration!
