Great brands know how to inspire their audience. Every year, imogene + willie host a Pinewood Derby. A night where adults gather to race 5 oz race cars down a 32 foot track. This year, they’ve introduced a new trophy for winners.?(image below) When I first saw it, I immediately lit up and started sharing it with all my friends. That’s when I realized that great brands don’t just market, they inspire. They inspire people to share, to make, to do. Giving people a reason to be a part of their world beyond just the product. That’s what my favorite ones do at least. If you want to find ways to inspire your audience, let's chop it up.
This article was in the Wall Street Journal this morning…..I found it pretty eye opening.??I know how much our team believes in our approach to Made in USA and taking care of our beloved vendor partners and the overall maker community…..but when I read something like this it makes me so damn proud of how we go about doing things each and every day.

We're proud announce that Zacchaeus Dance has been promoted to Director of Digital Marketing?+ Content. He recently celebrated his five year anniversary at the company, and his pathway here has been an exciting one to follow. We discovered his talents early as he supported our social media efforts. Forging the way in the digital?content world, he went from digital content coordinator to digital content manager, overseeing email and mailing list growth, social media ads, and website development. He recently helped us reach our goal of 200k instagram followers, on top of huge success in the digital?ad space. We are so grateful for his contributions to our growth.?Congratulations, Zacchaeus!

I admire how imogene + willie runs their company.
