Dr. Kaufman currently serves as President Emeritus of The Wistar Institute and venture partner at Pappas Capital. Immorta Bio has filed an IND application with the FDA for SenoVax, targeting advanced non-small cell lung cancer. SenoVax uses dendritic cell tech to clear tumor associated senescent cells, enhancing immune response. The trial will investigate safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy in patients who have failed standard therapies. “Our Senolytic Immunotherapy has the potential to be valuable not only as a monotherapy, but also as an adjuvant to numerous oncological treatments that are currently in the clinic," said Boris Reznik, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO.
