Last week, we hosted a dinner for the The Conversationalist, bringing together people from different backgrounds and beliefs to step outside their echo chambers and have real, open conversations at the dinner table. The night was filled with thoughtful discussions, a genuine search for common ground, and shared commitment to understanding each other. Everyone showed up as their true selves and made space for others to do the same. Thank you to The Conversationalist for letting us be part of such an important gathering!

America’s first gastroadvocacy restaurant that serves world flavors with a mission.
关于我们
Immigrant Food is America’s first gastroadvocacy restaurant concept, based in the wider Washington, DC metro area. Immigrant Food celebrates America’s story – the story of immigrants. Over centuries, immigrants brought their recipes and traditions to this country and reshaped what and how we eat. Immigrant Food’s lunch, brunch, and happy hour/dinner menus are a special mix of the cultures and foods that have made America great…again and again. Aside from celebrating immigrants’ contributions through food, Immigrant Food also advocates and educates on behalf of immigrants through impact partnerships with local NGOs, sharing its space for volunteer trainings, English classes and citizenship lectures, and publishing a monthly magazine on immigration that engages leading experts on the issues affecting immigrants.

We’re honored to team up with Beresovsky’s Deli this month for a special sandwich collaboration with a purpose. Benjamin Murray created the California Love: a California Banh Mi layered with tender smoked brisket, Maggi mayo, pickled daikon & carrots, fiery jalape?os, avocado, all on a perfectly crisp pan de bastón, served with a rich, nutty peanut sauce. Proceeds from each sandwich sold will go toward supporting victims of the devastating LA fires. Available all month at Beresovsky’s Deli.
