Developing digital enterprise reference architectures for a large system-of-systems is no mean feat. Achieving that in a way that adds value to the efforts of acquisition program offices responsible for implementing a complex space-ground architecture supporting critical mission capabilities is next level. Kudos to Chris Wilson and Jonathan M. for helping one of our key customers move away from artisanal, hand-crafted engineering artifacts to establish a dynamic, digital architecture and requirements baseline. Enhanced technical oversight to the delivery mission capabilities and the ability to quickly assess 2nd and 3rd order impacts resulting from modifications to functionality and performance should be the rule not the exception. #DeliveringDifferent #EngineeringWithTeeth #MBSE #DigitalEngineering

At Immersive Solutions Group, LLC (ISG), we deeply value the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Today, we honor those who have worn the uniform and stood in defense of our freedom. We would like to pay special tribute to the grandfather of one of our cofounders - James Arthur McColgan. James joined the Maryland National Guard while still in high school in 1935. As World War II erupted, he was commissioned as an officer in the army at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia and eventually transitioned into the Army Air Corps where he underwent training as a Bombardier on B-17s.?As part of the 447th Bomb Group, 708th squadron, James participated in the D-Day bombing runs in support of the invasion, coinciding with his brother's involvement with the 1st Infantry Division on Omaha Beach. On June 18th, 1944 his B-17G was shot down over Germany during a mission to bomb oil refineries. Despite sustaining heavy damage, he assisted in the evacuation of the aircraft, ensuring the survival of most of his crew. Captured by German forces, he endured interrogation and spent nearly a year as a prisoner of war. Following his liberation in May 1945, James returned to the United States, where he received numerous accolades for his service, including the Air Medal and Purple Heart. After the war, he continued his military career, transitioning to the United States Air Force and serving in the Korean War as a trainer for bomb crews in Okinawa.?He would later serve in intelligence before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in the early 1960's. As a government contractor, our mission is to support the critical work of our government, and we are especially grateful for the veterans on our team who bring their dedication, skills, and spirit of service to all we do. Their commitment strengthens our work and inspires us daily. To all veterans, thank you for your courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our country. #VeteransDay?
