We're so proud of the work done by Zachary Karson and so many other Rebels over the past few years to help Cal-ITP: California Integrated Travel Project bring the transit world into the 21st century. And we'll keep working to make transit easier and more accessible to everyone. #APTATech2024, #transit, #OpenLoop
I enjoyed presenting today at #APTAtech2024 with my co-panelists Dan Baker, MPA and Michael Kohlman, and moderator Kaj Huddart! We demonstrated, through the success stories of Monterey-Salinas Transit and Connecticut Department of Transportation, how transit agencies and states across the United States can easily and cost-effectively deploy contactless open loop payments using contracts already competitively procured by the State of California! Bottom line: These "state purchasing schedules" ("MSAs" in California) are a critical tool for helping transit access the modern technology products and services that their riders are demanding. We at Cal-ITP: California Integrated Travel Project are doing everything we can to encourage and support transit agencies to use the California MSAs and help other states establish their own state purchasing schedules for transit technologies. Visit the California Mobility Marketplace for more information on how to go contactless! https://lnkd.in/eNQ6PtsD

???????? ?????????????? ?????? ???????????????? ???????? ?????????? ???????????????? ????????????????? They have the potential to unlock financial opportunities far beyond transportation. Rebel’s Annalise Czerny, Carley Markovitz, and Lilly Shoup explain how mobility payments can pave the way for financial inclusion. We invite you to join us on this journey. Rebel North America are proud to have helped Cal-ITP: California Integrated Travel Project perform this market sounding to understand the challenges and opportunities associated with the transition to zero-emission transit buses. We are even more excited to be helping the State figure out ways to implement the learnings. Rebel is committed to a cleaner, better future for all, and this is one step along the way! Great job to Rebels Leah Foecke, Zachary Karson, Saunders Ruffin, Lilly Shoup, and Jim Ziglar.
The transition to #ZeroEmission is front and center for California #transit operators, and we’ve heard about the challenges – in costs, reliability, complexity, and more. That's why we've?talked to a wide range of companies: to both identify innovative project delivery methods and establish partners for demonstration projects. Our goal is to make the zero-emission transition faster, cheaper, and easier while maintaining transit’s core mission. ? Check out our #MarketSounding report to learn more. If you have any questions or want to share ideas, email us at?[email protected]. And we give a BIG thanks to all the participants for their valuable contributions! ? https://lnkd.in/g_-FYBD3
