This past weekend, as part of iMentor’s 25th Anniversary celebrations, the Empire State Building was lit up in iMentor blue and white – symbolizing many, many mentoring moments and relationships we’ve forged over the past quarter century. ?? iMentor CEO, Heather W. said, “Each mentoring relationship is between two individuals. Last night we gathered in the breathtaking Temple of Dendur at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate 25 years of mentorship, community, and growth.??? ? We were honored to spotlight mentor-mentee pairs Ibrahima S. SOUARE, MPA and Gustavo Hernandez, Anna Neverova and Oluwabukola (Bukky) Kayode, and Hannah Frey and Musha, who shared their inspiring journeys on center stage, bringing the magic of mentoring to life. ? Hannah beautifully said, “Musha and I were two individuals from two separate worlds, who didn’t know each other, didn’t think we had anything in common – and here we are today, as mentor and mentee but more importantly, as friends. We are proof that putting patience and trust into a mentorship can make a world of difference in a person’s life.” ? We would also like to thank Reese Witherspoon, Darren Walker, Kimberley Hatchett, and Karen Pavlin for joining us on stage with our founder, John Griffin, and Amy Griffin and iMentor CEO, Heather W.. ?
