Put together a string of roughing and semifinishing operations here to do some more testing with our IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. 1/2" M525 on our GE480H from Enshu USA Corporation!!! We were using a drop from the saw and apparently a saw blade had broken while cutting this part, during some of the early roughing, we found that broken piece of the saw blade with the endmill and lost an endmill 🪦 😔 😆 Other than that, everything ran great and allowed us to test the cutter on different processes such as high speed semifinishing a 5° wall @ 20,000mm/min 😈 Always testing and growing here in the Uni-Fab Inc Machining Department!!! #cnc #cncmachining #cncmachinist #fusion360 #autodesklife #testing #team #growth #learning #IMCO #Enshu #Techniks #FCS

Tuesday Testing!!! Had some fun today testing the IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. M525 on our new GE480H from Enshu USA Corporation!!! Programmed with Fusion 360 using adaptive toolpaths we were able to see some fluent motion and toolpaths, looking forward to really pushing the machine and cutter as we only pulled around 60% load at peak...
