Located at 299 East 161st Street, the 12-story Vibe is the very first upscale residential development in the area (in close proximity to the Yankee Stadium) and offers a multitude of amenities, from several outdoor terraces to a parking garage, co-working space, gym and lounges. Workplace and community service architecture and interior design is a growing market segment in IMC's portfolio. Our team recently designed a new office for Renewal, a non-profit that facilitates kidney transplants. The project encompassed converting and expanding a warehouse facility into a new office and community space. Preparations are on the way for the groundbreaking this Wednesday for the new 69,000SF Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School in South Bronx. NBA players and leadership will be in attendance. IMC Architecture and ESKW/Architects designed the new school. The five-story building with a cellar will feature state-of-the-art athletic and learning environments, including an 8,000-square foot gymnasium, a library and media production studio, a dedicated broadcast studio with a green screen, a dining/commons room and 27 regular and specialty classrooms.
